anyone got there smog pump deleted?? does it really add a little more power and will the engine run different without it??

 

it will add more hp. less strain for the engine to turn.

 

its not a huge gain by any means, but it frees up a lot of real estate under the hood, and makes working on the pass side of the motor much easier

 

yeah, i dont think it messes up the engine at all. but if your in ca i think you need it or you wont pass emissions or something like that. but im gona get one .

 

im in Illinois and mchenry county doesnt require emissions

 

then i would do it. you'll get maybe 5 hp or something. but i would rather do it for the more space. ill end up taking my ac off, smog off, power steering (when i get manual rack), and il get a electric fan. then it will be good.

it will free up a little power not much though

no it will be the same, sound the same. perform the same and everything. no smoke or anything
