Need help in installing power window motor on a 1992 stang.I last did that back in 1972 on my then 1968 t-bird I was a flexible young man then but I got it fixed. I just don't remember the procedure.thanks

just take off the panel. Undo the three little bolts holding the accuator in place and replace it, make sure the teeth line up.

Hm, I haven't seriously considered this, but one of my windows is starting to go weak on me, so I might need to, how do you get that main metal cover off with all the access ports to where you can just see all the electrical stuff inside the door? Not a clue what it is called, so sorry if my explanation is kind of confusing.

after you unbolt all the screws you have to pull up and it should free it. If not there might be a screw still in there.
