Default Big Day...

Tonight i finish what i started 7 months ago. For anyone who cares to look at what has been done. here is the list and pic's. Enjoy!

Engine pulled out at 95,000 miles -Boiled the block/crank/heads. Block honed, crank and cam polished. Heads shaved
*Parts replaced Rings (Grant STD size)
Main Bearings (Federal Moguel STD size)
Rod Bearings (TRW STD size)
Overhaul Gasket set
Freeze out plugs
Cam bearings
Valve seals
Pilot bearing
Radiator (2 row)
180 degree thermostat
19lbs fuel injectors (FRPP)
Heater core hoses (FRPP)
Valve lifters (Summit racing)
Timing Chain and gear’s (FRPP)
Head Bolts (ARP)
Polyurethane Motor Mounts (Energy Suspension)

Clutch Assembly
-Re-surfaced Flywheel

*Parts replaced
King Cobra clutch
Pressure Plate
Throwout Bearing

Brakes 95,000 miles
-Drums Cut
*Parts replaced
Raybestos Pads
Raybestos Shoes
New wheel cylinders
New hardware
New rear brake hose
New front rotors (SSBC slotted)
New front brake hose’s

Miscellaneous work around 94,000 miles
New gas tank
Fuel pump
Sending unit
Fuel filter
New headlight assemblies (one piece from AmericanMuscle.com 4/19/07)

I'm pulling my engine in a few weeks to change the oil pan and front and rear seals. I was thinking of painting my motor all black and you just sold me on it!!! Looks real good nice job.

What paint did you use? Is that flat black?

ya know i had planed for a HCI setup but i was on a tight budget and converting to MAF was another 350 or so. so i just stopped with all those plans. But a blower would be nice...

yea it is 500 degree engine paint. its a medium gloss. it go's on shiny but finishes that color. i did 3 coats and i hope its enough so it doesnt chip
