never driven or raced one but i cant imagine them being any faster than my 06 mazda 3 i had. the 3 was a snappy little thing but no contest to my 5 0.

My wife has a 06 TC...great car..roomy with alot of options. It was ok on the speed and quickness, but she needed more. She installed a Turbo, Downpipe, 2.5 all the way backand many other accessories ie coilovers and strut and sway bars for handling. That thing gets down now. She has stomped on some Sti's and cars.

The supercharger for that car is pretty worthless.

You should have no problem beating the guy with the TC....if he is stock or has baby bolt ons,just no power adders. If you lose you might wanna inspect your check driver light...haha J/K

The TC Scion cant even hang with my wifes Civic 06 Si and it only runs 15.0. They look intimidating but they are not quick by any means, stock that is.

scions are all show cars. the engines are weak and they dont go fast unless they have forced induction and even at that point they run mid to high 13's.
