Scion tc?
 

So the other night my friends andi were up at newark hanging out cus we were bored. My friend has a mazda 3 so we were all hanging out by his car just talking with some other people who go there to show off their cars. This guy my friend knows shows up in his 06 scion tc and starts talking his car up a lot. I didnt care too much about what he had to say so i just sat there and listened. My friend then brought up that my car was being worked on getting a new engine put in (my 84 gt is just about done getting a slightly used refurbished engine in same as stock for that year). He then basically made fun of my car saying how slow it is and that his scion would destroy it from a roll and a dig. So im expecting my car to be done in the next day or two since i need to order a few gaskets from advanced auto and im thinking some time this week ill make an appearance up there with my mustang. So my question is will he beat me, and if so by how much? By the way all he has done is a muffler, barely beat my friends mazda 3, in fact the mazda pulled the scion off the line till about halfway through 2nd.

depending on whats being done to your car.. you shouldnt beat on it for a little while.. just understand that he is driving a toyota powered toy

you'll destroy him, hands down. those cars are alot of show and barely any go.
i take out RX8's and i'm pretty close to stock, and RX8's are much faster than a scion.

Ok cool the only reason i was really asking was cus he seemed very confident about winning. His tc doesnt have the factory supercharger and no nitrous. Hes willing to put money on the race too lol.

I dont even give people like that the satisfaction of listening to my car.

I was hanging out at the local race spot in my area and I walked up to the guy setting up races and told him to line me up with anyone down there.

everyone wanted a piece, and I found it amusing... I ended up racing a FC3S, turbo Rx7. SMOKED it... nobody else wanted to try!

lol thats really funny. I figure if all goes well he can keep his money cus shutting him up will be all the payment ill need. I literally couldnt say one word about my car without him saying his scion was better.:eek:

good question im only 30 minutes from newark but then again i really wouldnt want to go to newark i have heard plenty of bad stories

Even when supercharged those Scions are unimpressive and slow.
