car wont start Help

Default car wont start Help

ok car sat for about a week, and when i went to start it the batt was completely drained. So i jumped it and drove the car to the stang meet down here. wen i went 2 leave the batt was completely drained again. jumped it again and disconnected amp and speakers and all that. Next morning car wouldnt start again. b4 it sat for a week car would start fine, volts are reading a good reading. is ther sumthin i should check right off the top, or just go thru electrical tryin 2 find sumthin thats drainin the batt?

car has new batt, sn95 alt

car has new batt, sn95 alt
check to see if the sunvisors lights are stayin on. If not, relocate a new negative battery cable to the a/c bracket top bolt

Damn woulda never thought bout sunvisor lighyts stayin on., but i guess it makes sense. def check on those 2mmorow. thx

It takes a knowledge of electricity to be able to solve a problem like this. Unless, of course, it's something obvious. The alternator could not be charging. You could have bad cables. A bad ground. It could be a million and one things. The first step, if you think it's a drain, is to perform a parisitic drain test. Then you'll know whether it's a charging problem or drain problem. The battery could be bad too.
