Default Lagging

My car seems to lag until it hits about 3,000 rpms and was wondering what i should check.

Ignition timing, a/f ratio, could be mismatched cam/intake. Could be a whole mess of things. Might just need a tune up

my car has an ignition system on it, it only has 76000 miles and had a recent tune up

"seems to lag" is a VERY general explanation. try to detail it a little more. road speeds, approx. throttle position, etc...
we can't help you solve "seems to lag"

ok. If i slam on the gas, it rev's up but it feels like my car is not moving at the speed it sounds like. For instance, if i am at a red light and i punch on the gas, tires will spin but it sounds like it is reving up really high but not moving the car. At about 3000-3500 is when it actually feels like it grabs.
