I just finished my exhaust...bbk shorties, h pipe, into 40 series....i put the mufflers in the stock area, n the sound is good just not very loud....has anyone ran mufflers rite after the h or x pipe.....whats the sound difference?

just run them in the stock place.... i dont no that they'd fit right where ur sayin... and the connection is differant anyway. do you have cats? are ur mufflers dumped? o/r h pipe and 40series flows are loud... i have them

Ya i ran everything wide open no cats....2 and a half inch pipe, and tail pipes, with tips.....(like your ride, mine looks just like it but cherry red)

i dunno, that sould be a decently loud set up... i have that, but mine are dumped... have u driven it yet? it gets loud

Shouldnt the tailpipes add a lil more sound than being dumped? and ive driven only like 20 miles since i finished it.

GT's usually run dumps.

And how did you get mufflers to fit BEFORE the h-pipe?!
