Default How long does the avg. hci swap take?

So I'm doing my hci swap this weekend at my uncles (who is a mechanic and mopar fanatic). I'll have full access to any tool and air tools. Myself, my friend (LCBlackDep183) and my uncle are doing it. How long do you all think it'll take? I'm going to try to disassemble the motor to the block friday night in about 2-3 hours and reassemble on saturday. Thanks for an input!

six hours (plus 10percent budget run over for stupid little odds and ends)....two hours spent driving back and forth from the local auto supply store/coffe shop/mcdonalds. Two hours trying to get it to idle decent, adjust and quiet the valvetrain, and not buck, two hours on here asking about idle, bucking, surge, hesitation . Finally once she's running right...two hours till your completely bored with your new found power. LOL

What little odds and ends did you run into needing? I've got esentially everything short of rod bearings to do this HCI lol.

there's always something that goes missing or is needed....maybe not every single time..but most often you end up in the car on your way somewhere for something at least twice . Good luck I always enjoy a day of assembly...just HATE the gasket cleaning and prep work. I would definately be looking at now for a fresh water pump and stat if they have any miles on them since everything is apart...and new belt if she's worn.

Brady did you drain your ac? Your going to have to remove the ac condensor to get that cam out.

Do you have the quick disconnect tools for the ac condensor and fuel line? You going to need it so you can disconnect the fuel line and get the ac condensor out of the way.
