Default dragstrip control arms

whats a good brand for upper and lower control arms for the strip?

also would i get really bad milage if i drive with 4.10 gears on the street?

from what i have read all the control arms will work for street and strip but adjustable ones work great for both b/c of adjustments. as for gears if you have a 5 spd. its gonna have an effect on mileage, if auto it will be worse of course but not to horrible. some cars are worse than others...ive finally made my mind in my auto...4.10's dont fear the gear!!!! i see that u got a 351 in ur sig...i hope ur not worring about mileage that much...nature of that engine is bad gas mileage but great power...its a trade off. go 3.73 with stick or 4.10 if you got an auto...u wont be happy with a smaller gear size...u will want more...do it right the first time lol

k, but is their a certain brand of control arms (adjustable) that everyone seems to like? and i run a C4 tranny, 3-spd auto.....so ya i guess 4.10's

some brands that people have around here are UPR, Blue Oval, Grantelli, Maximum Motorsports, and theres 1 or 2 more im missing. the MM arms are more expensive...some say u get what u pay for...

With a c4 and 4.10's your going to be at around 3000 rpm at 55mph with a 26 inch tall tire. With 3.73's you would be around 2800rpm at 55mph. With the c4 your gas milage is always going to suck, might as well just go with the 4.10's since its only a 200rpm difference.

-Struts& Shocks: lakewood 90/10 front, 50/50 rear
-Rear Upper & Lower Control Arms: lakwood adjustable upper & lower
-Springs: moroso trick front, 4cyl rear
-sticky mickey thompson drag radial tires

^think i should hook and lower my ET pretty good with all that?
