I may take them off& see how it performs, butI saw 130 MPH's last weekend out east& carved the back roads up real hard..I cant help but think that the design of the quad shocks offer a little extra when carving a corner& high speeds. You mean to tell me the maxium motorsport Fox's do away with the quads ? Like the notch tearing up the track in the video on the MM site. I had a back halfed Ranchero in the 1980's that had weldedladder bars with the rod ends & KYB's ..I couldnt imagine taking the shocks off it..maybe apples& oranges but .....

 

the quad shocks do nothing but limit axle twist when hp is applied suddenly. they dont do sh*t for turning corners. thats why when you have good control arms and bushings, you wont have axle twist so the quads become obsolete

 

I got edelbrock upper& lowers, these Fox's are still relitive new to me & the guy who built my car is a gifted mechanic to put it bluntly, he left them on there, new KYB's as matter of fact..But I have an open mind...
Theres people who told me my cartech " breadbox "intake takes power away from my car since i dont have a power adder but then again I've read that the breadbox makes 20 more HP over a stock upper intakeon a stock 5.0 in a few places..?? { which mine isnt BTW }so what to believe..like i said, i'm still new to foxes..good info& debate here ..I'm going to look into the advantages of removing the quads on a car set up like mine... thanks for the info.

last night I Googled quad shocks & it seems some people believe they aid in preventing wheel hop, but like advised here it seems that the vast majority of folk remove them after installing control arms..
