Default engine swap

I'm up grading from a 5.0 to a 351, can I use all the same engine parts on the new block when I swap it over?

you need new headers, an oil pan and pickup, and a spacer behind the crank pulley to line it up w/ the mustang accessories. oh, you need a 351 flywheel or flexplate too, different imbalance than 5.0l

swap is pretty easy, can reuse access with right brackets
plus what they said
Ford Racing makes nice swap pan and brackets
and tons of people make swap headers

Hood clearance will be an issue too.

and +1, plan on upgrading heads, cam and intake to see
and real power.

I believe the dist. will use a larger oil pump driveshaft, so a new dist. will be required...

I have a writeup on doing an EFI 351w swap on my site...
It may still be helpful for you...
