i hate to say it, but this thing doesnt work that well...do these things need a break in period or something? it shifts really hard, it clunks out of second and you have to jam it into third and fourth pretty hard. shouldnt it flow pretty smoothly? i love the feel and the short throw, but it's really clunky. did i install it wrong or something?

i followed the instructions to a tee, and it seemed to work fine right after i got it in...but when i put a few miles onto it, it got real clunky. huh, i guess i'll use it for a week or so and if its still bad i guess i'll rip it apart and do it again.

well see, the problem here is that the Pro5.0 is made by an actual company, designed by multiple teams of people over years.
The MGW was designed by 1 man, in his basement, and he ships his orders to another company. he doesn't produce any of the pieces himself.

the MGW is a better shift that the pro 5.0.... its a shorter shift their for u should shift faster.... its better... however not everyone likes the same feel and it may not be the shifter for them.... altho it is hte most adjustable one so cant think of reason why it shouldnt feel good...

as for the cluncky after a few miles i think somthing may have come loose.... at least it seems that way... if it got worse than not better then somehting is wrong with it on the inside.... something isnt lining up... just have to pop it off a take a look.... i havent installed mine yet... but my friends that i have drove on hte same car as mine... just a 94 cobra instead... and its smooth as silk... and it takes nothing to shift it either.... also did u adjust the stop points??
