So I'm burning gas pretty bad, andmaybe oil. I just changed it and did spill a little bit so that brings me to my third problem the engine smoked a little bit and the hood felt hotter the usual. Again the smoke I think was from theoilI spilt, because the temp.guage reads fine. So why am I burning so much oil? My gauge is reading 40-45 psi (I'm not sure whats good) and the other is in the normal quantity range. Any suggestions?

What color is the smoke coming out of your exhaust? How many miles are on the motor, you may need to have it rebuilt.
