IN MY OPINION. i will be getting chrome bbk shorties, equal length or unequal, unsure.

ceramic is better then chrome, and long tubes are better then equal length shorties that are better then unequals.

ppl will tell you that you will lose tq w. long tubes, but from sheets ive seen, that seems not the case, peak tq number may be SLIGHTLY lower, but the curve is better.

wrong...unequal is great for a low hp car....LT are a pain in the *** offer no real horsepower gain in the low to mid-range rpms which 80% of us drive in...also the heat up automatic transmission, scrap on lower'd car....equal are great for boosted apps and high hp cars....list below is my opinion of the best
KOOKS
JBA

chrome headers rust and turn colors

New headers can get a bit hotter than stock from what ive read. Chromies will turn a bluish color. Plain steel will end up looking rusty like the stock ones, obviously. Not sure how the black ones hold up. Ceramics will keep the heat down and they look good longer than the others. Equals look like a bunchof balled up snakes and changing plugs can be touchy since the tubes are close together. Unequals are easier to change plugs, theyre just like stock.Long tubes are ok but if you dont have much done to the motor i wouldnt bother.

Unequals [stock style]will do just fine. Id go ceramic.

i have the bbk chrome equal lengths. They have been great but first they turn blue and then if you ever get them wet they will start to rust. not sure about any other header but with mine i had to jack the motor up to get the passenger one on.
