adder thats what i used to think, but when i read the directions for the MM plates they said ford is conservative with theiralignments from the factory, they recomend an extra 5 degrees of + caster for street cars which sounds insane

RE: suspension

actually, the caster I can understand... any time you take a turn the wheels come so far back they almost kiss the wheel well.

I've already added extra caster into my car

hotchkis ones are overpriced, go with MM, or Griggs but their kind of pricey too

the hotchkis ones were in the kit but i dont think im gonna need them n e ways for .87" drop in the front and .5" in the rear..

i think ill just go w/ the FMS M-5300-B springs like adder said

but as for shocks/struts what is the difference in monotube and twin-tube shocks? which one would be better for more "road race" vs "drag race"??

All of that stuff is a fine set-up. Not as aggressive I would want in springs though. But thats me. And progressive springs cost more and arent usually made for comfort. They will be practiaclly as stiff, you wont notice much of a comfort difference. But they will improve handling. And CC plate are rarely "necessary". But are there to improve handling. They are rarely bought out of need, but usually out of want. Lowering your car a couple of inches wont make you need CC plates.

i needed c/c plates on my old 95. and they still weren't enough to get the alignment perfect but was good enough

RE: suspension

When do you consider your alignment perfect? What setting make it perfect?
