suspension

i was thinking about getting this kit http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=sku
it has FMS lowering springs .5" rear and .87" front
Hotchkis Caster/Camber Plates
and Strange shocks/struts
for $675.95

but are the caster camber plates even necessary for that amount of drop? by purchasing the kit i would save about $100 give or take but the caster camber plates are like $230 for the pair.. i could get rear control arms for that but then i would be paying $100 more..

what are your opinions?

RE: suspension

you wont be happy with those springs... they are a single rate spring and will ride VERY rough... all the time

RE: suspension

what kind of springs would you recomend for a softer ride? but i cant lower the car too much cuz my front wheels rub enough...[:@]

the M-5300-B (B springs) offer the same small drop as the C springs in that kit you posted, but are a progressive spring with will smooth out the ride, while still maintaining good handling characteristics

RE: suspension

CC plates are only necessary if the alignment is too far out of spec and can't be adjusted with the stock equipment

thats all
