Default power steering

Is there such a thing as flushing the power steering system/pump? It works o.k. but when I take the pump cover off it sort of smells raunchy. I have noticed that mypump whines a little when I turn the wheel but I think that's normal to an extent. You can tell the power steering fluid looks pretty dirty and I have about 112,000 miles on the same pump and probably the fluid also. Thanxs for the help!

yes it is possible. you need a special machine to do it. start calling around to your local shops, someone is bound to have it.

the best one is called BG. they make a whole line of cleaning/flushing products/machines.
