Hello all, I was taking off my Air Induction, and I noticed a lot of build-up in the TB... I was wondering what I should use to clean it out... I was thinking about just spraying some carb cleaner in it.. Would that be okay? What do you all use?

 

yup, carb cleaner, but its a good thing to use a brush of some sort and get a rag and wipe it out good... just sprayin carb cleaner on it wont do to much, stuff gets pretty caked on there

 

Yeah I knew that, was just wondering what substance to use... Thanks a lot.. Wanted to be sure before I sprayed something into my intake..

 

after your done, and you start it up, it should be a little hard to start, and it will smoke for a sec.... its just the carb cleaner burning off

do your IAC also. i actually cleaned mine with oven cleaner. sprayed it on wiped it off

 

I use brake cleaner ..as is has lil residue

 

well you could just get a new one..lol..just had to say it bro...

 

Is it your Stock TB ... get a new one off like e-bay if it is
