Anybody got a picture of a 5.0 with some sidepipes, i dont mean those SVO sidepipes or whatever, im talkin the old school ones like on the 427 S/C Cobra's. Im thinking of putting some on.

Bump..now one knows of any? That sucks, i need some pics pretty badly. Im really wanting to see what it looks likes badly. I know sidepipes sound wicked as hell, but how do they look on a fox body?

I've never seen them on a 5.0, but I think it would look ugly. Not to mention you'll be burning your leg on it all the time.

I think it would look pretty good myself. Im more old school myself. I was going to put a guard on it to keep the leg burning problem from happening. I like them because they sound crazy, really enjoy the sound of them. This guy i know has a A/C cobra replica and it sounds so mean with a 5.0 302 swapped into it with my cam (f cam) and it sitting idling, its a pretty unique sound. Really like it.

The dumbass that bought my old LX 5.0 vert put side pipes on it. It looks so stupid, I coulda punched him for it.

I agree.... I DO like sidepipes like that on way older cars but not 5.0's.... it just doesnt look right IMO.

Huh, i was just going to have them jet hot coated black at a local shop here, then i thought it'd look nice with my new flat black paint job. Personally i like them myself. I dont think they look beanerish, just a touch of old school on a newerish car. i think ill try them out, and if i dont like them ill just take them off.

I still would like to see some pics if anyone has them, i wanna see for myself what they'd look like.

i have sidepipes on my 94. From the headers its just a pipe cat then out the side, and it is wayyy too loud. I'm going straight out the back and adding mufflers soon. Not only is it too loud but it scrapes the ground alot becuase i have eibach sportlines on my car.dunno how it would look on a fox
