Default Which ratio is better for T5 tranny?

Does anyone know the difference in drivability between a 3.35 and a 2.95 first gear ratio T5 transmission?

According to your sig you have 3:55 rear gears you would be better off with the 2:95 first gear set. My brother had a 3:35+3:55 set up in his old 90 vert and it was too low, first was about useless and 2nd was too short. I have the 3:35 with 2:73 in my 87 they work well. I plan on putting 3:27 rear gear in mine (depending what happens with the insurance after I got hit last night) 3:35+ 3:27 is about the same as 2:95 + 3:55 1st & 2nd gear once you hit 3rd the 3:55 rear end should be quicker!

I have a 3.35 first and 4.10 gears and its definitly quick but it gets the car down the track as fast as possible.

If you want more mild manored street driving definitly go with the 2.95 but if you want a little more push you back in your seat action go with the 3.35

if its a stripe car 3.35 would be best... if its a street only car 3.35 might be hell to drive around in bad traffic.... u have 3.55 so id go with a 3.35 with a drag car and 2.95 with a street car... thats just my opionion tho... if u can handle really short gears ten get teh 3.35...
