RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
yep, you can get that through cj pony parts in pa. and a kick down from lokar like thunderjet said or ebay has them too.. and o ya!! a c servo is a must for these trannys there the same ones from the 67 gt500 mustangs very nice its the nice shiny plate in the pic!!

RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
the C4 in my II has i believe that exact same servo cause its purple. also has a tci streetfighter valvebody, edge racing 2800 stall converter, alto red eagle clutches w/ kolene steels, and a kevlar band. im running b&m synthetic trick shift and an aftermarket cooler as well as the radiator cooler. damn thing shifts like the business thats for sure.

RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
sweet thats what im looking for im building just about the same stuff you have but i havent picked out a stall yet, im still back and forth on tci breakaway or b&m what would you use im running a 331 with a f-cam, carbed,

RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
the nice thing about the lokar kit is it works on a carb without the kickdown hookup:D
|
RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
don't use a b&m convertor.. they aren't very good
|
RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
I can barely feel mine shift any gears due to the stall. I can feel it, and can tell that it's got a hard shift, but it's not a wheel chirper.

RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
ya thats what ive been hearin, even there shift kits are bad to from what i herd but thanx for the input man!
|
RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
realy do you have a shift kit? hell i want mine to cherp in all shifts lol.
|
RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
[sm=gears.gif]oh mine shifts badass;)hold it to the floor it shifts at 6800 rpm:Di don't let it do that much
|
RE: anyone running a c-4 trans
i like there shift kits.. ps without the kickdown hooked up you will eventualy burn up your trans... it has to do with line pressure.
