Default installing mac headers

hey guys im instaling my mac equal length headers and i got the dirvres sied in without any probles right an dtriyng to get the other side is a bitch... like i fuguresd it would be a ahssle buttt umm so far ive taken the intake off and the part that hooks up to the efi right and my buddys like o well well just push the strut tower in ayways did that like 2 inches in not touchin anytihng but ne ways still dont go in! so tomrrow im gonna lift it like 2 inches up or what ever but umm do i just undew the 2 engine mounts and thats it or? is there any other mounts i need to undo! thnkas

you just have to find the right angle and work it in there. thats how i did mine anyways

You should be able to fit it inthere without lifting the engine. did you remove all the smog stuff, & spark plugs. If not try that. instead of lifting the engine maybe remove the starter first for a little more room, if you are going to bring it in from the bottom. You might even have to take off your crossover pipe, if you havent already done so.

well i finally got it in i lifteed the engine up like 3 inches or sumthin with a **** load of scratches on the valve covers and headers! BUTT now the FU****** header holes dont lign up there like a bit too much to one side so the bolts are going in angled i magaged to get the back 2 in but not the other ones. so i dont know what to do now

lol ya im not a pro or anything but umm no the reason the headers holes dont lign up is cuz i bought them used and theyre mac so they don ahve a flange but anyways there like warped i guess but not by too much so hoping a can squeeeze em in
