yea, a light is very handy. Youll have to have one to get it set accuratley.

im lookin at timing lights atautozone and they havean inductive timing light for39 and an advance timeing light for 50. will the cheaper one do what i want?

Yes you can. You can also bump up your tire pressure without a gauge too.

Both seem like poor idea's. If you are too cheap to buy a light. Find a friend willing to help out.
