Default TPS

I changed my TPS today, and noticed something "extra". The TPS should only be connected to the other wire (not sure what it is called), nothing inbetween, am I right? Inbetween the TPS and that "other" wire was yet another connection, with a small rectangular black box in the middle. On the box was a red light on the left, and a green light on the right. What is this? Nobody can tell me, and the car still runs as good as it did now that I removed it. Any ideas on what it could be?

Stock TPS has 3 wires leading to and from. They connect to another connector. No extra box and no lights.

Sounds like you have a digital tuner on yours.

Digital Tuner? Hmm, not very knowledgable on those but after I removed it, the car drives the same. Should I hook it back up?

A ricer mod to "bypass" system part throttle strategy in the ECM.....not worth it. It causes the TPS to become sort of a switch.....Closed Throttle-WOT....instead of CT-Part Throttle-WOT.

Ive seen them things before but never knew anybody to ever use on.

Ever notice how so many ricer mods dont seem to be worth the money??? I know they sure dont.
