when do you know when you need to swap stock fuel injectors?

It's a fairly simple formula. But you'll need some serious mods before worrying about that. If you're just running the basic begining mods (gears, exhaust, ud pullies, CAI, etc) then don't bother.

 

I just upgraded to 24lb injectors because i'm doing H/C/I which kind of makes sense since I already have the car apart and I will need them now.

Like said before, you will not need them until you have some decent mods and are making some power.

Oh and make sure to get a mass air meter calibrated for whatever injector size you get!

 

There are many calcs out there to determine what injectors you need. My personal preferrence for a 5.0 is 7#/100 HP at flywheel. Per my calc 19# injectors are good to ~270 HP.
