If you can find 1.7's in the stamped type deal, yea, you probably could get away without having to do anything to the pushrods, etc.

But the stock heads arn't designed to work with roller rockers, you need studs to mount them on, the stock heads have just a screw to hold the rocker arms down with.

wow your stupid....

1993-1995Cobra's came stock with 1.7 FULL roller rockers. and they do bolt directly onto stock GT heads

You need to make sure they are PEDESTAL mount rockers, but yes, they will hit your valbe covers unless you remove the oil baffles

They make pedestal mount rocker roller rockers too. 94-95 valve covers are lower than the 86-93 though, I think. The cobra's came with 1.7 roller rockersbut I'm not sure if they used the same V/C as the regular 5.0

Nope, you need this

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...58806_-1_10231
part # 397-M-6564-A50 or 397-M-6564-B351 will work as well as a couple others

FWIW, crane makes the cobra 1.7 rocker arms.

So as long as they are not stud they will work because that means that they are pedestal-mount
Thanks
