A good sticky tire is the nitto of course but for much cheaper you can buy some fuzion ZR-i
Fuzion ZR-I's your joking right? I've had those in the the rear of mine and through first gear... tire spin... shift to second... more tire spin.. upshift to third.. and still no traction. So I threw those in the front and installed the Nitto's in the rear

How long do the MTs last? Anyone?
4-5000k for most people, Nittos last over 10k for alot of people, but like stated above " They aren't really a pure drag radial. They will provide significantly less traction."

They were much better than what i had on. But also i am talking a stock stang. And like they say it is for summer. Anything below 80 and they were hard. But for me when i had a stock mustang they were a great improvement over regular tires.

I really dont understand this Nittos not getting traction thing. I drove a '96 KB Cobra with a 4.30 gear and the Nitto drag radials held first gear just fine, without heating them up. When heated they are sticky enough to break stock axles (seen it). I also know someone who hooks better at the track with the nittos than the BFGs, he said he was so surprised but he just couldnt get the BFGs to hook for him. On a DD there is absolutely nothing wrong with Nittos, they are very very sticky.

If you want to say you have a drag radial, but actually hooking up is not important, go with a nitto. If you want the ride of a radial while you're street racing and hooking up is a prime concern, go with the MT. If you can hook up with a nitto, your car is a turd.

From what I've gathered the Nittos are the best all around drag radial, that is between treadwear, wet traction, and racing traction when heated.
Agree. I had mine for 3 years, Lasted about 15K w/ some major smoke downs at the track. For all around, Nittos are the way to go.

+1, my nitto's worked out well for what I was using them for. Once in a while, hooking was a problem but htat was due to track conditions, not the tire.

And crazyhorse is dead on.(like he needed to hear it lol) I have tried nittos, bfg, and MT et streets. And the stickiest tire is in the same order i have them listed above.

Ok let me get this straight. Cuz it sounds like you're saying, the stickiest is ...nittos,bfg,and MT et streets. If that's the case, you have it backwards. Oh and, what's the link for? Is that related to this thread in some way?
