Default gauge problems

my gauges have been actin screwy and i heard that a voltage regulator would do the trick, so i bought a new one and put it in today. I cant tell if it worked because my gauges are still messed up. does this mean i need to replace the whole gauge cluster? or try something different?

oil pressure doesnt really work anyways, get an aftermarket one. your tach could be a faulty sending unit, and your voltage is most likely you alt voltage regulator which is internal. is your volt meter spiking when you get on it? what exactly is the volt and tach doing? im not worried about the oil pressure because it doesnt work anyways, just get aftermarket one

most likely some old sending units are having some issues, time to go aftermarket. as for the tach mine sticks on start up, i just tap the plastic and it goes back to normal, but i will be getting an aftermarket one sometime down the road.....they arent very acurate anyways

dont mess with stock stuff, get a mechanical gauge and call it done, you'll be at it all year trying to figure out the stock stuff, i doubt they'll work anyways
