i posted another fourm about mpg problems i clean the trottle peice it was dirty car still doesnt run that great...
i get harible millege i mean like 9mpg city...

car smells like gas a little bit and power steering sucks!!!!

there is no leaks under the car where can the gas be leaking im scared so the car doesnt go into flames...

any advice what i should do about this power steering problem i heard flushing doesnt help...

also advice on the gas problem which im still having and and the gas smell where i should check for leaks, i know that in the trunk there is a gas fuel restart or something like that it seems to be pushed in and there is like a electrical noise comming out of the rear or the car is that red button supposed to be pushed in!!!

oh sorry btw i have 95 gt...

any help would do!!

Is the car carb or EFI?
Can you run the fuel pump with the car off? If so, I would check for leaks with the pump running and engine off.
When the runs does it have black smoke out the pipes? If so, this is a sign of rich mixture which can kill power and MPG

 

no there is no smoke...

no the check engine light isnt on and i checked the bulb is there...
my air bag is lit...

 

mine is and i think my mpg went down a bunch too... i have a 31 code...

 

i'd start by checking your fuel PSI...should be around 42 PSI

 

what kind of fuel you guys run on, super or regular?
