Default Finally Installed!

I got another rearend with a auburn pro carrier, richmond 3.73's, and moser axels.... took me 1 fullday to install it... it pulls hard, it's a big jump from 2.73's. i kinda miss my long first gear but its well worth the sacrifice..... but i might have a samll problem. it has a small howl when i leave it in gear and keep my foot off the pedal... is this normal for richmond gears? i'm hoping to get atleast 13.5 but i will soon find out on wendsday

sounds like the pinion torque is wrong

disconnect the driveshaft from the rear and check the torque to spec on the nut right there.

torque spec has nothing to do with a howl, his back lash is off, ur hearing that howl at 55 mph under light load
