You want someone to agree with you I do!! I have a king cobra clutch in my 85 gt it runs 11.90's all motor!!! and I launch it hard on slicksand it's 3 years old and hasn't missed a beat yet!!!

Do it right when the install gets done, and I would also suggest a new pressure plate, and maybe a flywheel if you need it. I got my KC clutch with pressure plate and aluminum fly all in the same install. SO much better, and not ONE problem at all. I love the thing. I don't know what other people do to break them, my guess is that they dont give the entire system a lookover and blame it on the KC.

Was running KC in my 87 for 3 years, and it wasmy DD and beat around town car, and never once missed a shift or gave me a problem.

i think a clutch is a mixture of quality of product(prep work is a must here for the product to work right)and of course a good driver.
