Default Odometer Question

My friend has a '93 GT on EBAY. It has a 6 place odometer. Someone replied on the Q+A section that '93's didn't have a 6 place it only had a 5 place odometer. I can't see this being true cause my '91 had a 6 place odometer. I have a picture of the dash from the day I bought the car and it clearly reads 0752379 and the 9 is in the 1/10 section. This guy who wrote on my friends EBAY ad stated to whoever is looking to buy the car that something is "fishy" and my friend would like to tell this guy to **** off, being that the car was bought from a friend who bought the car new and the 15k miles on the car are without a doubt 110% legit. Whats's the deal with the odometers on the '93?

Nevermind. He just pulled out the original window sticker and the 2nd to last thing listed on the option sheet is "Million Mile Odometer"- N/C

Guess that answers that question.

i can safely say there were no 6 digit odo's b4 '94

you don't count the tenths, after 99,999, you go back to zero

WRONG In Canada it goes to 6 digits. My car read 185,xxx,x <-- the last one is the tenths column.

in canada you guys also use kilometers instead of miles so that would account for needing the extra digit.
