Default self install headers?

Well this car is gonna drain my pocket enough as it is, My brother got a connection guy who has some bbk chrome headers for free. Am I able to install these myself? I've heard it is labor intensive and not looking forward to a huge labor bill.

labor intensive? [&:]. i dont see how they can be hard just unbolt them and slap different ones on with an exhaust gasket. unless they are long tube headers then you might have to unbolt an engine mount and raise it slightly to get some clearance to push it through.

Piece of cake bra! Worst part would be if the bolts are badly rusted and didn't want to come off!

i replaced my header gasket the other night for the first time (half of a header install) and it wasnt bad at all. i have replaced my midpipe before so that is the other half and that was even easier (other half of a header install)

would it make it easier if the headers where put on the engine then put the engine into the chassis? for long tubes? with the engine out of the car, then slide it all in?

i would say not boltthem on when droppingthe enginein, but lower the engine into the engine bay then bolt em on then drop it down to the mounts.
