<FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" color=black size=3>i am putting a '89 Ho5.0 in a '87 4.3turbo body. engine harness ison engine. can i use the harness in the 87 ,get a new computer and be fine?(get a harness conversion kit)both are e.f.i.. i have all the v8 parts incl. aod trans(came with engine)<IMG src=smileys/smiley11.gif border="0">.</FONT>

 

You will need the complete engine compartment harness and computer for the 5.0 to make it work,the engine and computer harness is seperate from the chassis harness,they come out easy if you can find one in the junk yard.

once the whole car is stripped(i.e motor and trans) running new wire isn't that bad.. set a lot of time aside and be patient... quick question though what happended to the svo turbo motor</P>

 

<FONT size=3>i still have the turbo engine. the car was originally my brother in laws he said he had lost power and smoke was coming from the lower half of the engine and where the turbo was until it finally conked out and wouldn't start;he said that no smoke(white or black)was coming from he exhaust at the time either. i bought the body and decided to convert to v8.</FONT></P>
