Backfire problem
Well since i have had the car its been backfiring... i had a new fuel pump put in, felt great at first, then it started backfiring and there were dead spots, id hit it and nothing happened
So i bought a Adj fuel pressure regulator from Kirban...
had it in felt a little better but im having the same problems
Before the new fuel pump i was running at 20 or so PSI fuel pressure
could running that lean have damaged my spark plugs or wires?
somthing just isn't right.
Full Exhaust and the fuel pump and reg are my only mods, and a new rack and pinion steering.

RE: Backfire problem
i suppose when you had the tank down, you didnt bother to check if the fuel pump baffle was still in place inside the tank.
check the MAF sensor wires too, if they aren't as white as a piece of paper, clean them.
