headers leaking heat onto the starter is gonna be a common thing, use heat insulating wrap to protect your starter and that problem should be cured. as far as being a pain in the *** to get to certain spark plugs, that too may be a problem with alot of headers.

anyways, if you going to swap them out, the best bang for you buck are probably the ceramic coated long tube flowtechs (a holley company), but they best headers hands down have always been hooker super comps. expect to pay out the *** for them with ceramic coating though...... a word on the ceramic, not only does it look better, it wont rust right away like painted headers, and will help keep the heat out from under your hood which will also help with your starter situation.

and yeah barry grant makes good stuff, so if you can afford one a 575 speed demon would suit you pretty good.

570 avenger and are you running long tubes or shorties? Equal length? And if someone used later headers with the stock h-pipe, you're going to have problems too.

That is very true. I have a V6 with MAC shorties and the #2 plug is literally burried behind the header pipe. Burned through two plug wire boots in the last 6 months so far because the boot sits on the header pipe because of the way the pipe is bent. BBK also has the same crappy bend.

Where do they leak? Alot cheaper to go through and figure out why 1st. If a tube or weld is cracked, then replace them.

or swing by a muffler shop and if the crack is in a place where they can weld it spend about 10 bucks and let them go "BuzZzZzZzZzZzZ, ok your done - have a nice day"
