its not that im losing performance its just they dont fit completely right and their leakin too much heay on my starter and the bend is ****in up one of my spark plugs so i was thinkin of puttin some hooker headers tht wil fit right
but yea i hear the demon carberators are good so i might switch to one of those

headers leaking heat onto the starter is gonna be a common thing, use heat insulating wrap to protect your starter and that problem should be cured. as far as being a pain in the *** to get to certain spark plugs, that too may be a problem with alot of headers.
anyways, if you going to swap them out, the best bang for you buck are probably the ceramic coated long tube flowtechs (a holley company), but they best headers hands down have always been hooker super comps. expect to pay out the *** for them with ceramic coating though...... a word on the ceramic, not only does it look better, it wont rust right away like painted headers, and will help keep the heat out from under your hood which will also help with your starter situation.
and yeah barry grant makes good stuff, so if you can afford one a 575 speed demon would suit you pretty good.

or swing by a muffler shop and if the crack is in a place where they can weld it spend about 10 bucks and let them go "BuzZzZzZzZzZzZ, ok your done - have a nice day"
