Default ???'s for Off-Road H-Pipe Install

I'm planning to remove the stock H-pipe in favor of an Off-road H-pipe. I will install the O2 sensors and that's about it.

Will the stock ECU adapt to this change without issue or am I in for more headaches after the switch? Any other issues going to come up or is this really a swap and drive?

i cant answer your question but i want to ask whoever answers the question question. is it true by using a off road H or X pipe you will lose horsepower because of the lack of back pressure?

You lose some low-end torque but gain top end power.

You shouldn't have any problems after the switch.

To answer the other question... Typically, when you put an offroad pipe on you gain peak power but you may lose a little in the low end. But this all depends on what you're running and how much air you're putting through them. If you take a stock car and put on 3" offroad exhaust, then you aint gaining **** [8D]

after putting my OR/H on my car feels sorta slow on the low end but its quick up in the powerband,

car wont be effected because ur o2s are before ur cats anyway... one of the few good things about obd1...

and when i put on my o/r h and dumped flows... i felt no tq loss at all... and could feel the rpms climb slightly faster... only gained me .2 at the track tho... so no huge improvement... but it was for the sound

backpressure doesnt mean anything. EXHAUST VELOCITY is the main concern.

backpressure means ALOT. go take your exhaust off from the headers back and run it, tell me what happens.
