hey guys i have a 302 gt40p with all the boltons and i just put in some 4.10s with my c4 with 3500 stall and at 60 im at 3300 and the engine is running a little warm wich i can expect, here's what i have 15" electric fan with 2800 cfm stock radiator 180 stat. idling im ok but when im driving down the road it hits about 225 when it's warm here but im thinking about going to a alum radiator just wondering if this is going to take care of my prob?

get yourself a brass TV cable bushing and re-adjust that cable or your tranny is gonna grenade on the highway
an aftermarket tranny cooler hooked into the return line with a small fan wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

and yah that rad should solve your problem.

i have a becool trans cooler with a fan not hooked to the radiator, im not worried about the trans that what i do for a living + it does not have any cables for vaccum lines it's a rev manual pattern valvebody with a transbrake

that's the only prob im worried that a new radiator is not going to help but i know it's not going to hurt

3000 RPM is spinning some serious amounts of coolant through the system.
bigger, cooler rad will help lots.

thats kinda what i was thinking, it's flow so quick the stock radiator can't cool it fast enough, what core radiator would you go with
