Default CRUISE CONTROL

Hey, i have a 89 5.0. it use to be a lx hatch 4cyl. i converted it to a gt. need to know how to make the 5.0 cruise control work.

push the "on" button and then push the "set" button after you have the vehicle at a desired speed.

there is a cruise control unit under the fender on the drivers side (i think), it may need to be changed.

ok, im not an idiot. I know how to use it.I wanted to know where the module was.thanks, dan89lx the unit probably needs to be replaced i just wanted to look at it first.

there is also a computer for it located behind the radio on the tranny hump under the dash too that you need to have too.

i discovered it when i took a fender off of a car I was stripping so I could take it to the scrapyard, I think you can get to it by taking off the inner wheel moulding but I would consult a manual before trying anything. Good Luck.
