Default Mufflers and H-pipe vs X-pipe

Just wanna say that mustang forums is a successful forum by any stretch of the imagination and every question I have asked everybody does their best 2 answer. First Im trying 2 find a good muffler. I knowthe first thought 4 everyone is flowmasters but they are old school now. I need some ideas on the next best muffer. Im looking for an aggressive, loud, and kinda throaty sound. If there is amuffler that sounds pretty good without all of the above mentioned sound I want to know about it. Second I'm tryin to decide whether to go x-pipe or h-pipe. Tell me the difference in horsepower, sound, or whatever the differences are.

I have a Mac catback with an off road H pipe. Love the sound and the compliments. In my opinion I think that H pipes are deeper in sound and X pipes are more high pitched especially when you get on it. I've had both and I prefer the H pipe on 302 or 351 engines. You make more power with the X pipe though.

X-pipe without a doubt. With Magnaflows or Borla.

If your gonna go slp just put glasspacks on your car, same thing, and a HELL of a lot cheaper. And ya everyone thinks a flowmaster is a flowmaster, yada yada, but if you want to try a bad *** muffler, try out the new Super 44 series, they are awesome, deeper sound, louder than the 40 series, way more exterior sound than interior. I dont think you will be let down, but if you dont want to give them a try, id go borla.
