Default how long will this last trying to go 10's in my 2800lb sn95

302:
stock bottom end with 69' rods, stock forged pistons, b 303 cam, trick flow high port heads, vic jr, 650 dp, 150 shot?

i've got the short block sitting around, and am contimplating just throwing it in while my 13.5:1 block is being built.

im trying to go 10's in my 2800 lb sn95 with FULL race suspension ( drag bags, coilovers etc.) this season and im not sure if my other motor will be done in time... what you guys think?

take it easy there little fella.... I just dont want you to get upset when you melt a piston.... because they arent forged

87-92 pistons were forged, and had the proper valve reliefs for 1.9" intake/1.6" exhaust valves

itll last a long time if the tune is good, and you will need much more to run 10's with that mild build

Your not gonna melt a piston when its hypo. The piston is just gonna blow to pieces. A forged piston will melt and cause less damage to the motor to an extent.
