Just looking for some suggestions here. Lately my car has been not wanting to idle, bucking on the highway etc. Yesterday it would idle at 4000 rpm then drop to near stall and back to 4000 and it eventually stalled. I have cleaned the mass air and IAC to no avail.

Any similar experience with fixes would be appriated.

What you described happened in my 93 f-250. I lost two cyl. I doubt that is your problem though. If you havn't done a tune-up lately now would be the time. Dist. cap,rotor,wires,plugs,fuel filter. It could be your module in dist. also.

No codes are being generated....no check engine light, the check engine light has come on in the past with the bucking/jerking but it goes out itself.

 

hey my car is doing the same thing. i just had a built up performance transmission put in and now my car does not want to idol and i lost alot of my acceleration. if anyone can help me please do so. i put new plugs new msd wires and cap oil change fuel'oil filter please someone help

 

You have checked for codes?
Or just assume there is none as the light is dark?
The EEC-IV can store many codes w/o lighting the CEL

I'd check to make sure
I'd be surprised if there is nothing there
