hey guys, im looking for a tuner for my 95 gt auto that can adjust shift points, and input a new rear end ratio into the computer. Also if it can gain more power thats always good too. Im not looking to get soemthing really expensive like a tweecer though, so does hypertech make something,? I couldnt find anything for it when I looked.

ok, do you knwo anyplace I can get one used? Im not looking to spend that much money jsut to change the gear ratios, or do they gain quite a bit of power too? I have the timign advanced to about 11 deg (anymore and it was pinging), and do run premium so will that help?

the speedo is gear driven its an obd 1 car you need to change the gear on in the trans to fix ur speedo. Also anderson seems to be the easiest to use. But none are really as user friendly as obd 2 programmers. Anderson megasquirt and tweecer are theo nly 2 i know of for the 5.0 obd1

well i knew about the speedo gear, but wont havinf different gears mess up the trans shift points? I dont want anything buit gears so if I can get away without a tuner thad be cool. Doesnt hypertech make some stupid "tuner" that can change this small stuff thats liek 300 bucks?

 

the speedo is gear driven but by swithing the gear wont get you very close on an sn-95 there is an electornic pickup somewere that you have to have a tune to correct.
