Default 302 Beefing

Just wanna say the mustangforums.com is one of the greatest things since sliced bread. I just have a couple of quick questions:

1. Do 289 cylinder heads fit a fuel injected 302?
2. What model explorer can I find a gt-40 intake(top and bottom)and would the gt-40cylinder heads be agood choice also?
3. What would be a good race and driveable injector size?
4. Does anyone know anything about Magnaflow mufflers?
5. X-pipe or H-pipe

1. they'll fit the 302 block with the correct head gaskets and provisions made for steam holes but you won't have any provisions for the air injection/emissions
2.the late model explorers with the 5.0's had the better intake you seek but I believe they have what you call gt-40p heads as the gt-40 heads came on cobra mustangs..these are not one in the same heads
3.24lbs injectors if it's not gonna be s/c
4.yea one of the anddretti sons did a commercial with them I believe it was MARCO???
5. X-PIPE FTW!!!!

1. I have heard that 289 heads will bolt to the block but if the car is fuel injected then I am going to have some kind of an intake problem(fitting, not fitting). Dont really know. Can someone tell me if I can bolt on these 289 heads and bolt the stock intake on with no problem.
2. Also can I get some feedback on 289 heads and how they would work on a 302 with a gt-40 intake. Will they fit right on with no problems?
