Default big problems.

i was about to set my new engine into my car. and upon pulling it out i busted my throttle body and broke a motor mount. and a friend helping me cut my tranny lines. not much of a friend. i can replace and repair most of it. but i cant locate the motor mount bracket for it. anywhere not even a junkyard. so here is my question. would i be able to weld the bracket back or not? if i can i have a good mig welder i can use. and a good welder also. i just need a fix for it and have no idea what i need to do. any info helps. thanks

Oh my... What did you do to break the motor mount and TB!? Jeeezzz.... I would not weld the bracket. Go to a local parts store, they have them in stock most of the time. (Pep-boys, Autozone, etc.)

i can only get the bracket from dealers or junkyards. junkyards in my area have nothing old enough to even have a 302. somehow we busted the ear off of the throttle body. when i pulled out the engine and set it in the garage nothing was wrong with it. and my dad said the motor mount was already broke.
