i got a 91 lx 5.0 5 speed, i got flowmaster mufflers on there, it came with them when i bought it. i was wondering what would be the best choice for my exhuast, or if anyone has any suggestions. im looking into doing it all over, possibly headers if i can afford them. looking into h-pipes and some new mufflers maybe. anyone know what would give me the best sound for the best price?

 

I just put on mac ceramic headers, mac prochamber and series 40 ( i know erveryone has them but like the sound). I think it sounds great added a little hp.

 

i just put on summit unequal shorties (very good deal, they're cheap and the quality is excellent), a mac off-road H pipe (also cheap and great quality) and an SLP loudmouth catback (expensive but great quality and VERY LOUD).check the exhaust thread in the stickies for what a lot of combos sound like, i'm going to try to get one of mine in there soon if you want to hear it.

 

i have bbk equal shorties, bbk o/r x and 3 chamber flowmasters..sounds good, but not loud enough...SLP comes in the spring time
