Ok so I I've gone to 5 junk yards helping a friend get that dash emblem back.. His 93 5.0 pony dash emblem is missing. Dont know what happend to it. The car is garaged kept and always locked.

$100 for the 25th anizersary eblem.

So what we are going to so is get a Pony hat pin. Break off the back pin part, Used a dremal tool to grind the back smooth and use good 3m double sided tape to adhear it to the dash. The pin was $10. Note his is a 93 so the 25th aniversary isnt needed.. You think this is the best way to go?

 

You can find them cheaper than that. I got one off ebay for abuot $15.

www.performancepartsinc.com has both the standard and the 25th ann. for $50 each.

All thepick n pull's we have gone to don't have any (they've all been ganked). We did see a burn unit towards the front that had the 25th, and as we were scoping it out, they got on the intercom and told us to get away from it because it hadn't been inventoried yet and we couldn't pull anything from it. (but yes we were able to reach in and pull it off the dash real quickly) It wasn't in the best of shape as it had some heat and severe smokedamage.

 

Ugg yea, those suckers are impossible to find.. pout.. I was thnking about putting on in my 07 and 08 GT's just to dress the dash up a little bit. hehe

 

Holy crap! thats nuts. Im glad i still have my 25th anniversary one. I also have a spare mustang emblem. Dont know what mustang its from but its a horizontal pony and slightly larger than the dash one, but smaller than the one on the front of a sn95 grill.

 

I think I'd tape a $100 bill to may dash before I'd pay $100 for that.
