Default harmonic balancer question

a mechanic told me that my balancer being messed up and shacking will make my engine sensors not read right, and make my car run like ****. is that true? how much do they run, and are they hard to change?

it could, but we dont have anything like a knock sensor, crank position sensor, or any of that ****, so itll run fine... but vibrate like all hell.. which is very bad for it... i think their like 60 bucks, easy 15 min install, but u need a puller

my car has an electic fan, its a 95 with a 5.0. wen i take off it shakes, and it dont have close to the power it use too, and it has two codes that popped up bank one and two running lean. i cleand injectors, cleand fuel rails, new fuel filter, cap, rotor, coil. and if it were plugs or wires, it would have different codes wouldnt it?

the shake is from the balancer if ur already saying its bad... replace that, see how it runs, it could cure ur lean issue.... then, check for vac leaks
