garage wont do my exhaust.
I asked a garage for a price to weld my exhaust after I install my mac pro chamber's, mufflers, and new tail pipes. They wont do it because of a $10,000. fine for removing the cats. Any one ever have this problem. Maybe they have actually been fined. This is in SC by the way there are no inspections and no emmisions testing.

wow im jealous i wish NY didnt have inspections... i dont have cats either so i just found a shop out in the sticks that would weld my flows up. They dont need to be welded but i hate exhaust leaks worse than anything so thats the route i always take.

my application will require 8 different clamps piping in the new stuff. I will just go to the muffler shop at the other end of town to remove my clamps and weld it in. Im sure they would.

Ive heard of that too. Most shops around here wont cut off cats either but I went to school with a guy that owns one of the shops and he does all my work. He has cut the cat out of pretty much every vehicle I have or have had.

yea i had an exhaust shop get me all ready for my new exhaust n when he seen i had no cats hes like u gotta leave no... i aint chancing my license for ur stupid emission ****...... so i left.......... found some 1 to weld my exhaust for lil xtra doe......

You know CATS really don't rob much HP they filter the air that runs through it and breaks up the bad stuff... I would just run them
